Claremorris Business & Community Expo

THE Claremorris Business & Community Expo 2016 takes place in Claremorris Town Hall later today (Friday, November 11) from 4 to 9 p.m. and will showcase all that’s good in the town.

The expo is free to attend and will provide invaluable opportunities for the leading vendors and service providers in the town and their customers to meet and network under one roof.

The event is part of the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town programme and will bring local businesses, education, sports and cultural organisations together in an effort to boost economic activity in the town.

The expo is free for exhibitors and free of charge for the public to attend and will be opened by Mayo stars Donal Vaughan and Keith Higgins. Gavin Duffy of Dragons' Den and Padraic Moyles, creative director of Riverdance, are guest speakers for the evening and they will each address topics such as business success, teamwork, motivation and leadership with all those present.

There will be a number of entertainment and fundraising activities organised around the event. Face painting, a Lego workshop, Late Late Toy Show and Dan the Magician will provide entertainment for the children and there will be a fashion show for the adult visitors.

Western Care is the chosen charity and all monies raised will be matched up to €1,000 by Bank of Ireland through its Give Together charity initiative

Claremorris Expo 2016 offers exhibitors a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate their products and services to new and existing customers from the local Claremorris community. The expo will provide a platform for businesses to impress current clients and attract new business, get their company logo, products or services recognised and remembered, gain targeted exposure of products and/or services to other business owners and customers or display current specials and promotions to a targeted local audience.

The Claremorris Business and Community Expo 2016 is a must attend event for everyone involved in the Claremorris community and wider south Mayo area. Visitors will be able to interact with the guest speakers and exhibitors, to learn about the products and services available in the town as well as having their questions answered. More importantly, exhibitors and visitors will leave with a better understanding of all that’s good about Claremorris and what the town has to offer.
