Mayos gay bull benjy has been saved

Benjy, the Mayo gay bull, which was bound for the slaughterhouse, has been saved.

Animal rights activists have launched a petition to raise money to purchase the animal and have it sent to a sanctuary in England where it will be able to peacefully live out the rest of its natural life.

Agreement has been reached with the farmer involved on the purchase of the bull.
