Minister bruton in ballina for action plan for jobs business forum
Following on from the launch of the Action Plan for Jobs, the Action Plan for Jobs business forum is scheduled to take place in Ballina Manor Hotel on Friday (January 30).
The purpose of the forum is to outline the government’s approach to the creation of employment and to hear the views and ideas of business people on what other supports they need to protect existing jobs and create new ones.
This event is the first such event of 2015 and follows on from a series of successful business forum events in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
The format of the Ballina event will be a breakfast briefing and consultation with the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton.
Agencies including Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Local Enterprise Office Mayo and Udaras na Gaeilge will participate in the event also.
This Action Plan for Jobs forum is open to all members of the business community and attendance is encouraged. It all starts at 7.30 a.m. in the Ballina Manor Hotel, located on Barrett Street. To book a place, email paulaprendergast@leo.mayococo.ie.
