Mayo football league officers
The Mayo Football League has revealed the various functions of its officers as the 2015 season kicks into action.
The league management committee (LMC) consists of Donal Benson, John Durkan, Kieran Gallagher, Seamus Hughes, Martin Kielty, James Larkin, Tom McDaniel, Padraig McHale, Sean Molloy and Gerry Sweeney.
Of those, Padraig McHale is chairman, John Durkan is secretary and fixtures secretary, Tom McDaniel is treasurer and disciplinary regulations officer, James Larkin is vice-chairman and assistant treasurer, Gerry Sweeney is registrar, Kieran Gallagher is PRO, and Martin Kielty is recording secretary.
The chairman (Padraig McHale) is the Mayo League's Connaught FA Council and FAI Junior Council delegate, while the Connaught FA Junior Committee delegates are Gerry Sweeney and Martin Kielty and the Connaught FA Council reserve delegates are Tom McDaniel and Seamus Hughes.
The executive committee is made up of the chairman, secretary, treasurer and registrar – namely Padraig McHale, John Durkan, Tom McDaniel and Gerry Sweeney.
The disciplinary control unit consists of the disciplinary regulations officer (Tom McDaniel), the secretary (John Durkan) and the registrar (Gerry Sweeney). The fixtures committee, meanwhile, is manned by Padraig McHale, John Durkan and Tom McDaniel.
The new members on the LMC, Seamus Hughes and Sean Molloy, have been named as club facilities coordinator and events coordinator respectively. Donal Benson and Gerry Sweeney are the LMC reps on the player welfare fund committee, while Padraig McHale, Tom McDaniel, Benson and John Durkan are the reps on the Milebush Stadium Company Ltd. Finally, the CE participant development officer is James Larkin.
There new league season kicks off this evening (April 11), with games due to be played in all four divisions of the Mayo League.
