ONE year on from its launch in May 2014, Irish TV has exploded in popularity, with over 140 countries tuning in over the past year.

The first anniversary of Irish TV also marks the opening of the station’s New York office, with the channel officially launching in the US later this year.

Speaking about the station’s first birthday, CEO of Irish TV, Pierce O'Reilly, said: “I would particularly like to thank our viewers. We appreciate your support so much - it is your support that is keeping us going and why we do what we do.
