Search appeal intensifies for missing pilgrim pooch
THE search is continuing for a pilgrim pooch who went missing on Croagh Patrick at the weekend.
Walkers are asked to keep an eye out for a Dalmatian cross, who answers to the name 'Patch', who has a distinctive patch over one of his eyes.
Patch went missing when his owners, from Westport, were on the mountain on Sunday.
In the past 24 hours a Facebook page to try and bring the stray home safely has been set up.
Patch is described as gentle and sweet natured. He is most likely believed to be in the Murrisk/Lecanvey area and possibly Prospect/Owenwee.
