Taoiseach to remember omagh victims

TAOISEACH Enda Kenny will lay a wreath at Mayo Peace Park tomorrow (Saturday) morning in memory of the victims of the Omagh bombings in 1998.

He will perform the ceremony as a part of a commemoration to mark the visit to Castlebar of St. Eugene's Brass and Reed Band, Omagh, for a Brass Band Festival hosted by Castlebar Concert Band.

The CWU Band from Dublin will also be in attendance and there will be on-street performances at Market Square by the three bands on Saturday afternoon from 1.30 p.m. as well as a concert in the local Welcome Inn Hotel from 8 p.m.
