West mayo man collects 206000 lotto win

A WEST Mayo man has today collected a Euromillions prize of over €206,000  after winning last Friday’s Euromillions Match 5 + 1 star prize.

The man, who plays Euromillions and Lotto every week, said he will put some of the winnings towards a fund for his children’s education, and paying off part of the mortgage.

He’s also considering booking a family holiday 'to recover from all the excitement'.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous , bought his ticket at Kelly’s Garage, Mulranny Road, Newport. It was a €6 quick pick play.
