Mayo to play moran card again

BARRY Moran has been named on the Mayo team to face Dublin in Sunday's All-Ireland senior football championship semi-final at Croke Park, which would suggest the Mayo management team will be casting the Castlebar Mitchels man in a similar defensive role to the one he played against Donegal when he was named instead of Andy Moran.

In the only change from the side which defeated Donegal, Chris Barrett comes in for Tom Cunniffe, the Belmullet player named at centre-back.

Although named at full-back, Donal Vaughan is expected to play in the half-back line, with Barrett more than likely moving to corner-back.
