Mayo now 54 from 64 to win replay
BOYLESPORTS is reporting that punters are latching onto Mayo ahead of Saturday’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final replay, which has seen Dublin drift out to 10/11 from 8/11 as a result.
Initially Mayo were installed at 6/4 to win the match in 70 minutes on Sunday evening but following some hefty bets throughout Monday across all channels the westerners are now 5/4 to win the match in normal time.
Dublin can be backed at 8/11 to qualify for the final while Mayo are available at evens from 6/5 to reach the final.
Mayo’s Cillian O’Connor and Dublin’s Bernard Brogan are locked together at 5/1 at the head of the first goalscorer market, with Aidan O’Shea hot on their heels at 11/2.
Said Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson: “With just four days to go to Saturday’s replay so far all the money has been for Mayo and our traders are expecting the 5/4 to dry up sooner rather than later after some chunky bets were laid on the westerners at 6/4 and 11/8.”
He added: “Our traders are expecting the replay to be another close call with just one point separating the teams in the handicap betting with both sides on offer at evens to cover the handicap spread.”
