Motorcyclist dies in mayo crash

A MAN has died following a collision on the R331 Hollymount to Claremorris road.

The collision occurred around 1.30 p.m. today when the motorcycle collided with the van. 

The driver of the motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been named.

The R331 Hollymount to Claremorris Road was closed to traffic as a garda technical examinations took place.
