Passing of widely popular hollymount woman

THE death has taken place of Mrs. Kathleen (Ciss) Sheridan, Clooncan, Hollymount.

A member of one of south Mayo’s best known and most respected families, she was predeceased by her husband Joe.

Deepest sympathy is extended to her sons Michael (Ballyheane), Jim (Dundalk) and Joe (Clooncan) and daughters Eileen (Carlow) and Mary (Meath).

She is also survived by her daughters-in-law Carmel, Catherine and Anne, sons-in-law, Des and Ollie, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandsons, brother Michael Joe, sisters-in-law Nora and Mary, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Burial takes place in Robeen Cemetery tomorrow (Tuesday) following Requiem Mass for the repose of her soul at 12 o’clock in Robeen Church.
