Death of widely popular kiltimagh publican

THE death has taken place of Michael Roughneen, The Tavern, Main Street, Kiltimagh

One of the best known publicans in east Mayo, his traditional-style premises was very popular in the area.

The deceased was widely popular and news of his passing has cast a cloud of sadness over the community.  

Deepest sympathy is the Roughneen family on their loss. 

His remains will be reposing at his residence on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Removal takes place on Monday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock. Burial takes place afterwards in Kilkinure Cemetery.
