Parsons moran and ronaldson did not support vote
FOLLOWING the revelation that star Mayo defender Lee Keegan did not support the secret no-confidence vote in the county's senior management structure, The Connaught Telegraph has also learned that three other players, Andy Moran, Tom Parsons and Mark Ronaldson, did not support the no-confidence vote either, writes Aiden Henry.
In a report on the Mayo GAA crisis in today's (Wednesday) Irish Daily Mail, both Andy Moran and Tom Parsons were mentioned as having not supported the no-confidence vote, while The Connaught Telegraph understands that Mark Ronaldson was another who didn't support the vote.
Along with Keegan, Parsons, Moran and Ronaldson are understood to be looking forward to the 2016 season and wearing the Mayo jersey under the present management set-up.
Meanwhile, we understand that some Mayo senior team players are unhappy that The Connaught Telegraph broke the story of the no-confidence vote, especially the location of their secret meeting and the fact they did not give a reason as to why the vote was taken.
