Gang smashed into shop through roof

GARDAÍ in north Mayo are hunting a gang who broke through a shop roof before escaping with a haul of cigarettes and cash.

Corcoran's Store, Knockmore, was broken into in the early hours of Monday (October 12).

Gardai at Ballina (096-21422) are looking for information as to any suspicious vehicular activity in the Knockmore area from 12.30 am on Monday onwards.
