Garda on alert after another robbery

GARDAÍ in Mayo and Roscommon are appealing for information following the theft of Eircom wiring in the Ballaghaderreen, Frenchpark and Castlerea area.

In a week in which there has been a number of robberies in the region, a large amount of the wiring was taken sometime between 10.30 p.m. last night and 9 a.m. this morning.

Gardaí are asking for any one who may have witnessed any suspicious activity between Crinaun Bridge, along the Ballaghaderreen to Castlerea Road, and Eire Óg GAA Club in Loughglynn to contact them.
