Garda issue warning after another breakin

GARDAÍ in Mayo have issued a warning to all business owners to be  vigilant and ensure that their alarms and CCTV are fully operational at all times.

It follows another break-in in the county, this time at a filling station outside Ballyhaunis.

The incident occurred at the Emo garage at Coolnaha, on the Kilkelly road out of Ballyhaunis. The thieves gained entry through the rear of the premises.

Details of what was taken have not been disclosed.

The garda technical unit have carried out an investigation of the scene and Claremorris gardai are asking anyone who may have been in the area of the premises over the Bank holiday weekend and noticed anything suspicious to contact them at (094) 9371222.
