Passing of retired Castlebar garda sergeant

THE death has taken place of Eamon Brosnan, The Curragh, Castlebar, Tirellan Heights, Galway and Brosna, Co. Kerry.

The deceased served as a Garda Sergeant in Castlebar for many years and was held in the highest regard in the community.

He is survived by his wife Bridie, sons John, Con and Frank, daughters-in-law Nicola and Hillery, grandchildren James, Eamonn Og, Rhiannon, Eleanor and Tadhg, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

His remains will be reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Friday evening from 7 o’clock with removal at 9 o’clock to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Burial takes place in the New Cemetery on Saturday following Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. for the repose of his soul.
