12 Days of Mayo

LOCAL twitter page @allthingsmayo, as the name suggests, promotes all things Mayo, and has amassed 10,400 followers in just over a year, connecting people, businesses and the Diaspora.

This Christmas, with the support of many local businesses, the twitter feed is running a 12 Days of Christmas for Mayo to promote the county throughout Ireland.

Using the hashtag #12DaysofMayo, the promotion will provide a platform for 12 local and national (with Mayo connections) businesses to promote the county and bring some Christmas cheer to the people of Mayo.

It all starts tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. (running until 10 p.m.) when the company to follow and retweet will be announced. There's a total prize fund for the 12 days of around €1,000 up for grabs.
