Passing of affable Castlebar woman

THE death has occurred after a long illness of Úna Ainsworth (nee Dwyer), The Curragh, Castlebar.

A widely known and respected personality, she was a member of Castlebar Golf Club and Castlebar Soroptimists Club for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy, and family, to whom deepest sympathy is tendered.

Her remains will be reposing at her residence this evening (Tuesday) from 5.30 until 8 p.m.

Removal takes on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
