EDS to launch single at Swinford concert

FRESH from their first headline concert in Dublin, Swinford band EDS (Everyday Solution) are coming home for a special local gig.

The band will launch debut single ‘Keep You Smiling’ ahead of a concert in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford, on Saturday next (December 5), and they are making it a real family affair.

Doors will open at 6 with the show getting underway at 7 p.m. Tickets are selling fast from the Gateway Hotel and are just €10, with a special family ticket available for €30 (two adults and two children under 14).

EDS sold out The Grand Social in Dublin city centre last month, having already played to huge success in Vicar Street in August. They have also just completed a country wide tour with HomeTown and made their television debut on RTÉ last week.

The five - Aaron Sweeney, Stephen McDonnell, Aaron Kinsella, Felix Cunningham and Brian Gallagher - have been together since 2010, when they formed the band while students in Scoil Muire agus Padraig in Swinford. They’ve been gigging ever since and a busy summer saw them headlining Enniscrone Festival this year as well as playing support to The Academic.
