Death of Castlebar woman in Dublin

THE death has occurred in her 96th year of Rita Nolan (nee Heneghan), Dublin, and formerly of Rathbawn Road, Castlebar.

An affable and much-loved personality, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, a number of years ago.

She is survived by her daughter Maureen, sons Frank, Sean and Liam, grandchildren David, Lisa, Gavin, Shane, Jonathan, Robert, Andrew, Philip and David, great-grandchildren Charlie, Matilda and Sofia, daughters-in-law Anne, Catherine and Bridgette, cherished sister of Francis Heneghan.

Her remains will be reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Linenhall Street, Castlebar, on Tuesday from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. with removal afterwards to the Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Burial takes place in the New Cemetery on Wednesday following Requiem Mass at 1 p.m. for the repose of her soul.
