Mayo set to host celebrity wedding

CROSSMOLINA, which made headlines in recent weeks because of severe flooding, will be in the spotlight for a more happy reason tomorrow (Thursday) when local girl Louise Duffy and Kerry footballer Paul Galvin are wed in the local church.

Guests from all over Ireland will be making their way to the north Mayo town for the nuptials of the celebrity couple.

Louise, daughter of Thomas and Martina Duffy, works with Today FM and TV3. Most of the Kerry football panel will be among the 200 or so guests when Louise and Paul say ‘I do’ in St. Tiernan’s Church.

Afterwards a lavish reception is planned for Belleek Castle in nearby Ballina.
