Death of well known Mayo businessman

THE death has occurred at the Galway Clinic of one of Mayo's most progressive businessman, Brian Higgins, Ballyhaunis Road, Claremorris.

Mr. Higgins, who ran Higgins's Daybreak, along with his wife, Caroline, will be laid to rest on Wednesday next (January 20) in St. Colman's Cemetery.

Remains will repose at Gilligan's Funeral Home, The Square, Claremorris, on Tuesday evening (January 19) from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Brian is survived by his wife, Caroline, their children, Calvin and Chantelle, his parents, Tommy and Kathleen, his brothers and sisters, his aunts, mother in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends,
