Geesala's Ciara Ginty is no stranger to sporting accolades

CIARA Ginty, Geesala Boxing Club, is no stranger to winning awards.

Double national title wins at the age of 12 saw her set a firm foundation for her impressive record of wins on the national, Olympic and world stage since then.

She was voted the best boxer at the World Championship and the best female youth boxer in the world the same year.

She claimed the silver medal at the Olympic Youth championship in 2014 and was crowned Under 18 64kg national champion in June, winning her seventh national title.
