Top swimmer Niamh Kilgallen has had a record-breaking season

THIRTEEN-year-old Niamh Kilgallen has certainly made a splash in the world of swimming in 2015.
Niamh has been swimming with Claremorris Swimming Club since the age of nine and participated in the European Games representing Ireland.
At the Irish Age Groups she won gold in the 200m breaststroke, silver in the 100m fly and 100m breaststroke, and bronze in the 200m individual medley (IM), all in the Under 16 age group.
During December in Lisburn, at the Irish Short Course Nationals, Niamh won three silver medals in the 200m IM, the 50m breaststroke and the 50m freestyle.
She also broke an Irish junior record in the the 50m freestyle and claimed three bronze medals in the 100m freestyle, 100m breaststroke and the 100m IM.
