Election posters being vandalised in Castlebar

REPORTS are emerging in Castlebar this morning of election posters being vandalised along the approach roads to the county town.

It is understood a significant number of posters were removed from poles and dumped in nearby ditches.

However, no complaint has yet been made to the local Gardaí Siochana about the matter.
