Mulroy elected to key Mayo County Council role

WESTPORT Fianna Fáil Councillor Brendan Mulroy has been elected to the post of leas-cathaloirleach of Mayo County Council. 

He fills the vacancy created by the election of his party colleague, Lisa Chambers, to Dáil Eireann.

Councillor Mulroy said he regarded it as a great honour and he thanked his fellow elected members ftheir support.
