Gardaí in Mayo issue security alert to householders

GARDAÍ in Mayo have issued a security alert to all householders after two break-ins took place in the Swinford area earlier today.

In both cases the intruders were disturbed by the occupants of the house and left without taking anything.

One of the break-ins took place at a residence in the town centre and entry was gained through the rear of the dwelling.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity to contact them at (094) 9251115.
