Mulranny native dies in accident in Australia

THE community of West Mayo is coming to term with that shock news that a young man from the area has died in a road traffic accident in Australia.

Kevin Moran, a native of Mulranny, tragically lost his life in the accident, which occurred yesterday.

A noted rugby player, he was an underage star with Connaught and was a key player for Westport Bulls.

He was also a talented soccer player and starred with Mulranny United for a number of seasons.
