Castlebar Concert Band face busy schedule

MEMBERS of Castlebar Concert Band are bracing themselves for a busy schedule.

They will be performing at the St. Patrick's Day Parades in Foxford and Ballina on Thursday, starting at 1.30 and 4 p.m., respectively. 

Then on Sunday, at 2.30p.m., the band will lead the parade in the county town.

Members have also been rehearsing for the band's trip to London in May.

Castlebar Concert Band was invited by the London County GAA Board to play at the opening round Connaught SFC clash between London and Mayo at Ruislip on Sunday, May 29.

The band, under the baton of Jackie Greham, is also schedule to play a concert during the weekend stay in the English capital city.
