Man who died in Mayo road accident is named
THE 35-year-old man who died after his car left the road and entered a river near Cloonfad yesterday morning has been named as Robert Hunt, Collisker, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis.
His death occurred after the vehicle he was driving left the R327 road between Cloonfad and Claremorris and entered the Dalgan River.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Mayo University Hospital for post-mortem examination.
His remains will be reposing at Donnellan's Funeral Home, Ballyhaunis, on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. with removal to St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad. Burial takes place in Tulrahan Cemetery on Monday following Requiem Mass for the repose of his soul at 1 p.m.
