Funeral of Knock-born mother who died after childbirth
THE funeral is to take place in Knock later this week of a young mother who died in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, shortly after she gave birth.
Tracey Fitzpatrick, whose maiden name was Campbell, died unexpectedly on Easter Monday.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick passed away after giving birth to a healthy baby boy. She has two other children.

A spokeswoman for St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, has confirmed that an internal inquiry is underway into the 36-year-old’s death.
Her remains will repose at the residence of her parents, James and Pauline Campbell, Shanvaghera, Knock, from 6 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) evening with removal on Friday morning to St. Anne’s Church, Shanvaghera, for 11 o’clock Mass.
