Countdown on to opening of TK Maxx in Castlebar

THE long awaited TK Maxx store is nearly ready for its grand reveal at Lannagh Road Retail Park, Lannagh Road, Castlebar.

The store will be officially opened by Mayo GAA star Aidan O’Shea at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 14.

The new store will bring designer labels for less to Castlebar’s stylish shoppers. The 26,000 sq. ft. store, will feature over 60,000 different items of this season’s must-have fashion and accessories for women, men and kids as well as homeware at a fraction of the normal retail price.

Regular deliveries each week will bring up to 10,000 new items to the store, so there will always be something amazing to discover.

Said Michael Jones, store manager for TK Maxx, Castlebar: “We are very excited to be opening up the new store and bringing big savings to all the stylish shoppers in the area. With new items arriving each week, customers will always find something individual and special at a great price.”

An extra special promotion will also take place in the store on the opening day itself. A number of red hangers will be ‘hidden’ amongst the rails, and if found, the customer can redeem a €20 gift card at the till to spend in store. One lucky customer will also have the chance to find the special ‘golden hanger’, which will entitle its finder to a €50 gift card and a Mayo jersey signed by Aidan O’Shea.
