Death of much-loved Castlebar woman

THE death has taken place of Noreen Groonell (nee Walsh), Newport Road, Castlebar.

A member of one of the town's best known and most respected families, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas and sons Kieran and Finian.

Deepest sympathy is extended to her family Gearóidín, Ailish, Emer, Cathal, Bláth, Fergal, Annin, Sinéad, Tom and Doireann, granddaughter Ruth, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at the Coady Funeral Home, Castlebar, on Friday evening from 5.30 p.m. with removal at 7.30 p.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass for the repose of her soul takes place on Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
