Death of former principal dental surgeon for Mayo

THE death has taken place at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, of Frank Quinn, Laragh, Cloonkeen, Castlebar.

The deceased was a former principal dental surgeon for Mayo, based at the County Clinic, Castlebar, where he was held in high esteem by his colleagues.

He was a popular member of Castlebar Golf Club and Castlebar Bridge Club for many years and will long be remembered as a kind and unassuming personality.

Deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Aileen, sons Tiernan, Peter and Jonathan (Jack), daughters Deirdre, Aileen and Geraldine, grandchildren Katie, Caoimhe, Alice, Andrew, Carla, Oscar, Sam and Lauren, daughters-in-law Barbara and Mary, sons-in-law Philip and Peter, sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His remains will be removed this evening (Tuesday) to the Holy Family Residence, Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh, arriving at 7 p.m. for prayers.

Funeral Mass takes place on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross.
