Hot and sunny spell set to continue
MAYO awoke to another glorious morning today (Tuesday) and the good news is this spell of fine weather looks set to continue into and over the bank holiday weekend.
Today will be dry, warm and mostly sunny, with top temperatures of 19 to 23C generally. Tomorrow (Wednesday) will also be generally dry and sunny with top temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees, though a little fresher and cooler along some coasts due to sea breezes.
Met Éireann say the outlook is that the weather is going to stay generally dry and warm with sunny spells for the rest of the week and over the weekend as well.
Highest temperatures will typically be in the low twenties but up to 24 or 25 degrees in places and at times down to the mid-teens in some coastal districts.
Plenty of time so to hit one of Mayo's Blue Flag Beaches, like Keem in Achill (pictured).
