Traffic congestion plan put in place at Mayo airport
IRELAND West Airport Knock has moved to address traffic congestion issues ahead of a busy summer.
The airport this evening issued a statement advising passengers to ensure they arrive at the airport at least two hours before their published flight departure time.
An Garda Síochána will be supporting the airport during the month of June in traffic and car park management duties for operational reasons.
A spokesman for An Garda Siochána said it is important to have a plan in place due to the increased volume of traffic at the Mayo facility.
