Mayo get Fermanagh at home
MAYO will be reasonably happy with their draw for the football qualifiers, which was made this morning (Monday).
Stephen Rochford's men have a home tie against Fermanagh, which will be played on Saturday, July 9, the day before the Connaught final meeting between Roscommon and Galway.
Mayo played Fermanagh in 2004 in the All-Ireland semi-final, which went to a replay. Mayo advanced to meet Kerry in that final where they suffered a very heavy defeat.
Better news for Mayo supporters is that all the county players, with the exception of Ger Cafferkey and Chris Barrett, turned in performances for their clubs at the weekend and there were no reports of any injuries.
