Political debate show returns to Mayo local radio

THE popular one-hour political debate and current affairs programme, Saturday Forum, returns to Castlebar Community Radio (CRCfm) next weekend. 

The new season gets underway with newspaper columnist and former Sinn Féin councillor, Noel Campbell, in the presenter's seat for his second season.

His questions to the assembled panel will range from Budget 2017 to the political future of Taoiseach Enda Kenny in a week in which the Castlebar TD announced he intends to contest the next general election despite strong speculation to the contrary.

The programe runs from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Saturdays.

The other presenters during the course of the 2016/17 season will include John Healy and Stephen Burns with Peter Killeen producing.
