Passing of much-loved Ballina woman
THE death has occurred of Mamie Walsh (née Egan), Culleens, Killala Road, and late of Crofton Park, Ballina.
In her early 90s, the deceased was a member of one of the town's best known and most respected families.
A woman of immense character and generosity, she will be sadly missed by everybody who knew and loved her.
Deepest sympathy is extended to her daughters Mary and Patricia (Patsy), son Brendan, brother Dan, sisters Eileen, Joan, Teresa and Phyllis, daughters-in-law Camilla and Mary, grandchildren Simon, Stephen, Corinne and Sarah, great grandchild Saoirse, grand daughter-in-law Mona, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbours and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack, son Gerry, brothers Stephen and Paddy.
Her remains will be reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, this evening (Saturday) from 6 to 8 p.m.
Burial takes place in Leigue Cemetery on Sunday following Requiem Mass at 2.30 p.m. at St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
