Conor Mortimer cleared to play in Mayo club GAA replay
FORMER Mayo star Conor Mortimer has been clearned to play for Shrule/Glencorrib in their Mayo IFC semi-final replay against Westport on Wednesday.
His application for a transfer back to his native county from Parnells GAA Club, Dublin, is approved ahead of the clash at Elverys MacHale Park on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The winners will face Kiltimagh in the decider on Saturday at the same venue at 5 p.m. before the Mayo SFC final involving holders Castlebar Mitchels and Knockmore at 7 p.m.
The Mayo SFC final replay between holders Ballyhaunis and Tooreen is fixed for Sunday at Ballyhaunis GAA Grounds at 1 p.m.
