Patrick Durcan is a doubt for Tourlestrane clash

CASTLEBAR Mitchels ace Patrick Durcan is a doubt for the club's Connaught SFC quarterfinal clash against Sligo champions Tourlestrane at Markevick Park, Sligo, on Saturday (2.30).

The attacking half-back sustained a hamstring injury in his side's emphatic victory over Knockmore in last Saturday's Mayo SFC final triumph.

He was replaced midway through the second half and subsequently underwent treatment on the injury.

It is understood he is responding well to physiotherapy, but the Castlebar Mitchels management won't make a final decision on his participation in the clash until Saturday.  

He was named man-of-the-match after the Mayo decider, much to his delight.
