Death of widely-respected Ballyheane personality

THE death has occurred of Donal Kennelly, Hollyhill, Cloonshinnagh, Ballyheane, Castlebar.

A member of an old and respected local family, the deceased was held in high regard in the community.

He was a regular contributor to the annual Castlebar Parish Magazine and his articles were always very well written and researched.

Deepest sympathy is extended to his brothers Michael, Sean, Seamus, Richard and Brendan, sister Lucy, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will be reposing at the Thomas Street Funeral Home, Castlebar, tomorrow, Thursday evening, from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Patrick's Church, Ballyheane.

Funeral Mass takes place on Friday at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Ballyheane Cemetery.
