According to the judges, Chill Spa, which has been honoured in the awards many times, ‘continues to delight both clients and our judges'.
Elaine Armstrong, Chill Spa manager, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won not just one but two awards this year. To win the People’s Choice award is particularly special. The Chill Spa team prides itself on providing a very high quality, personal service to our clients so it is wonderful to have that called out by those who voted for us.
“A big thank you from all of us at Chill Spa and the Ice House to everyone who took the time to vote – we very much appreciate it and hope to see you back here very soon!”
Chill Spa exclusively offers certified organic Irish VOYA treatments made from hand-harvested seaweed. The spa boasts five treatment rooms, a beauty room, a relaxation suite and an outdoor spa garden.
With its funky furnishings, sumptuous food and award-winning Chill Spa, the Ice House offers an escape to the extraordinary. Perched on the banks of the Moy estuary, the property offers breath-taking views stretching across the river to the woodlands beyond. Strategically positioned on Ireland’s principal sea-port in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, the Ice House was once known as Iceland Cottage as tonnes of wild salmon where preserved under ice in the building before being shipped to markets in Dublin and Liverpool.
