Woman recovering in hospital after Mayo crash

A WOMAN remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital following a collision on Friday evening at Ballinurla on the Ballina to Enniscrone road.

It is understood she was the driver of a car which was involved in an impact with another vehicle.

The route remained closed to traffic until Saturday.
