Over €135,000 allocated to Mayo groups by Department of Health

THE Minister of State for Regional Economic Development has been notified by the Department of Health that funding of €135,000 has been allocated to 84 organisations under the National Lottery Grant Scheme for 2016.

The department allocates National Lottery Funding for distribution to community based groups and voluntary organisations under the following terms: 1. Respite Care Grant Scheme; 2. National Lottery Grant Scheme.

A list of some of recipients of Lottery funding awarded to groups under the Health and Personal Social Services provision is attached.

“I am delighted to see this funding being spread through the county to many worthwhile organisations and groups,” added Minister Ring.
