Coolgrane lights up for Crumlin hospital

THERE are some pretty cool Christmas lights all around Mayo this year.

Tops among them are the Coolegrane lights, hosted by Kevin and Brendan Hughes in Coolegrane, a few miles outside Foxford.

This is a brilliant display for children and families to pop along and see, and in the true spirit of Christmas they're accepting donations for a great cause - Our Ladies Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

Gerry Glennon from Midwest Radio was on hand to officially switch on the lights.

The lights will be showing until January 8.
