Setback for Christmas holidaymakers as Gatwick to Knock flight is cancelled
THE Aer Lingus flight from London Gatwick to Ireland West Airport Knock, that was due into Knock at 2.20 p.m. today, has been cancelled due to a technical issue with the aircraft.
A spokesperson for Ireland West Airport Knock confirmed to Midwest Radio that the Knock to London Gatwick flight due to fly out this afternoon at 2.50 is due to go ahead, as the airline has repositioned a Dublin based aircraft to service the Knock flight to Gatwick.
There is no news, however, on an alternative flight today for those who had been due to fly from London Gatwick to Knock
A spokesperson for the airport stated that a larger aircraft will accommodate passengers flying into Knock tomorrow.
