Communities mourn passing of much-loved personality
THE death has occurred suddenly of Mark Faherty, 2 Abbeyside, Breaffy, and formerly of Faherty's Shop, Garryduff Drive, Castlebar.
Aged 36, he was son of Gerry and Margaret (nee Quinn) and brother of Martina (Lakeview, Castlebar), Nicola (Greystones, Co. Wicklow), Gerard (Rialto, Dublin) and his twin John (Blachardstown, Dublin).
Mark, a much-loved and popular personality, is also survived by his nephews Liam, Callum and Senan, Nicola's partner David Molloy, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and many friends.
The deceased was a grandson of the late Austin and Peggy Quinn, Westport Road, Castlebar, and the late Maurice and Anna Faherty, Drumshaughlin, Co. Meath.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
His remains will be reposing at the family home on Saturday (Christmas Eve) from 4.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
The remains will be removed to St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy, on Monday (St. Stephen's Day) at 1 p.m. for Requiem Mass at 1.30 p.m. with the funeral proceeding to the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
